Depressing tweet of the day

Unavoidably, one speculates: Is this how Trumps sees himself? A heroic figure in an action movie, or something similar? Is this how the nitwits who are his base see Trump?

I can recall my son bursting into tears while watching a cartoon show on television, and explaining to him that it wasn’t real. Now, it occurs to me that a stunning number of Americans must never have got that talk, that they are unable to make the necessary distinction between television dramas with their simplistic good guy / bad guy plotlines, and the messy uncertainties of the real world.
