The composite of the storm-track models has the center of Florence traveling to the west of us at tropical storm strength. Small variations in the track can have huge consequences for us, though, and so we are preparing: checking the batteries, the gas, the chain saw, rescheduling this and that, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Unavoidably, then, posting will be light for the next several days.
