Is the mess on our southern border — Finally! — the crisis that enables the loonies to see that The Donald is as cold and empty as the deepest reaches of outer space? One hopes. It certainly is true that Congressional Republicans — one eye on the midterms — have started falling away, and even a handful of prominent evangelicals have gotten sniffish. May that continue.
