A journalist was verbally abused by a pastor for asking Donald Trump if he is a racist.
April Ryan claims she tried to ask Donald Trump whether he was racist as he left the room because the event at the White House was ending.
However the journalist alleges a pastor named Darrell Scott started swearing at her and calling her rude, Being Liberal reported.
She claims she hit back by saying “this is about the first amendment [which protects freedom of speech]”, but it only caused the man to start being more aggressive and loud.
Speaking at a Newseum panel she said: “I’ve never felt fearful like that, I was doing my job, whether you like the question or not.”
I’ll grant that the question was unserious; of course Donald Trump is a racist. Hell … he glows, and the white-trash racist crowd is one of his most important demographics. Even so, when you add this report to the story of the Michigan man who wanted to go to Atlanta and shoot-up CNN because of its “fake news,” it should be wildly obvious to anybody but a Trump supporter that he is stoking malice toward journalists that cannot have a happy ending.
