A star is born

On this day when a federal shutdown looms and The Donald is eager to get out of Washington to the comforts of Mar-a-Lago in order to celebrate the first anniversary of his inauguration, it would not be a bad idea to watch Barack Obama’s keynote address to the Democratic National Convention in 2004, the “star is born” speech that made him a household name.

Seriously: If you can’t see who is the better man, or sense the squalor that is the modern GOP, there is something wrong with you.
