And, yet, virtually every last one of the ignorant white-trash who flocked to Charlottesville to rally around the statue of Robert E. Lee would have identified himself as a devout Christian; undoubtedly, many of them attended a Southern Baptist church as a visitor Sunday morning, and listened to sermons that flirt with outright sedition. Go figure.
How many people who marched in #Charlottesville last night will march into church on Sunday? I'm guessing it's not a small number.
