    The diocese confirmed Friday three names identified by the York Daily Record/Sunday News, which has been investigating the scope of abuse in the diocese.

  • EH minister rejects plea deal in child sexual assault case

    A minister from East Hartford who is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 10-year-old-girl rejected a plea bargain on Friday that called for him to spend no more than eight years in prison, and possibly less.

    The minister, Prince Medfred Asiam, 54, who has listed an address on Risley Street, is charged with sexual assault in the first, third, and fourth degrees and risk of injury to a child. He is free on a $100,000 bond.
