Meet my neighbors, ctd

A not-exactly-brilliant Tarheel tried bond out of jail using a phony $100 bill.

While citing Mock on a drunk and disorderly count, police ran a warrants check and realized that he had failed to appear in court in connection with a prior marijuana possession case.

So Mock, pictured above, was arrested and transported to the Guilford County lockup, where jailers informed him that he could immediately bail himself out of custody by posting $200.

Mock accepted the offer and directed officers to remove cash from his wallet. It was then that investigators realized that Mock was offering a counterfeit $100 bill. A subsequent check of his wallet turned up a phony $20 bill as well.
