How can you not laugh?

So: The Republican caucus has the same problem in the House of Representatives as it has in the country writ large. You can’t get nominated without the support of the crazies, and you can’t win the larger election if you have that crazy vibe.

How will they elect a President when they can’t even nominate a Speaker?

The only Republican with a prayer of winning next year is the one who reads out the loonies. It looked for a while as though Jeb Bush might be the one who could do that, but he clearly lacks the wherewithal; that’s too bad because, in spite of a lot of baggage, he is the only one of the bunch with presidential presence.
