Apparently, mobile technology has advanced to the point that advertisements can be sent to smart phone users in particular geographic locations. Naturally, the a-holes that harass women visiting Planned Parenthood have big plans to use it.
The international pregnancy support and adoption agency Bethany Christian Services is launching a program to send life-saving ads specifically to smartphones inside abortion clinics, Copley Advertising has announced in a press release.
So: You pass through a gauntlet of howling yahoos just to get inside the place and, once there, your phone starts dinging at you.
Seriously: There is something foul and misshapen in these people, a thoroughgoing lack of ordinary decency. The good news, of course, is that people who don’t live inside that sick little bubble have no excuse — Finally! — for not seeing them as they actually are.
