I pointed yesterday toward a tweet about a pothole in nortbound I-75 in Detroit. As it happens, it is in an overpass; here is the view from below:
The Interstate Highway System is part of the national defense system; those highways are built to exceptionally high standards, because they are supposed to be able to carry an army from one part of the country to another at high speed. Only years of egregious neglect can explain something like this.
