Theological education is a deadly serious business. The stakes are so high. A theological seminary that serves faithfully will be a source of health and life for the church, but an unfaithful seminary will set loose a torrent of trouble, untruth, and sickness upon Christ’s people.
Well, at least our li’l buddy has the decency to acknowledge that theology can be a source of mischief. I doubt he will ever acknowledge, however, that reasoning from fairy tales and without epistemic standards forever disqualifies theology as a bona fide branch of knowledge amongst intellectually serious adults.
