I’ve been pretty clear about this through the years: Theology never does the hard work of establishing its premises, and for that reason I don’t think that theology should be considered a branch of knowledge; it hasn’t a scintilla more intellectual dignity than astrology. A corollary of sorts is this: Theologians aren’t necessarily educated men; to wit, Wayne Grudem.
