Right. It is far more effective to make plain to people like Sarah Sanders, Corey Lewandowski, Kellyanne Conway et cetera that they aren’t fooling everybody and they are not welcome. Maxine Waters goes too far when she calls for relentless public harassment, but it is entirely right and proper to refuse to associate with these people. They are liars and bullies and haven’t any business amongst decent people, and they won’t stop — they lack an internal brake — until they are hit with a cost that gets their attention: Social approval.

Just another bunch of Trump supporters busily making America great again.
… at the breadth of corruption in the Southern Baptist Convention, head on over to The Wartburg Watch.
Back in March 2009, we started writing a blog because we were appalled at the level of abuse we saw and heard about in churches, including those in the SBC. We had no insider information. Neither of us were related to any SBC leaders or journalists of any kind. We just read lots of stuff. It is amazing what people say when they don’t think anyone outside of their fan club is paying attention.
Back in 2009, we read and heard about:
Mark Driscoll
CJ Mahaney
Paige Patterson
Paul Pressler
Yes. The truth about these people — and a great many others, do go read the piece — has been in plain sight and available to anybody willing to see the truth for a long, l-o-n-g time.
The so-called Conservative Resurgence turned the SBC into an exploitative and decadent cult operated by self-serving cynics. I was born skeptical but, unfortunately, the SBC is not an eccentric club whose strange ideas can be safely ignored by everybody else. It strongly colors local culture and local government and, of course, is a very big element of The Donald’s support.
We should all be happy and grateful, then, that the SBC is staggering beneath the burden of its own iniquity.
