Sarah Sanders is highly annoyed that her and Trump’s long train of lies about the media are widely considered to be contributors to inciting the bomb attacks against Trump critics.

I think it is absolutely disgraceful that one of the first public statements we heard from CNN yesterday was to put the blame and the responsibility of this despicable act on the president and on me personally. I find that disgraceful that that was one of the first statements is that they made this and tried to put the blame on the president.

This would be a good time to recall that Sarah Sanders is the daughter of a Southern Baptist preacher. She isn’t very smart to begin with, and she wasn’t raised by a good role model.

There is a total and complete lack of understanding at the White House about the seriousness of their continued attacks on the media. The President, and especially the White House Press Secretary, should understand their words matter. Thus far, they have shown no comprehension of that.

I incline to think Trump et. al. know exactly what the effect of their relentless demonization of the press is likely to be.

Bombs have been mailed to George Soros, Hilary Clinton, and Barack Obama in the past few days.

Two explosive devices were found in mail sent to the offices of former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Secret Service said Wednesday.

The devices were similar to one found on Monday at the home of the billionaire philanthropist George Soros, two law enforcement officials said.

Some yahoo’s idea of making America great, I suppose.

UPDATE: CNN is now reporting that the Time-Warner building in New York City has been evacuated upon discovery of a suspicious package on the premises; Time-Warner is the parent of CNN, and the working assumption is that this is a continuation of the bombs sent to George Soros, Hilary Clinton, and Barack Obama.
