If she lives to be 100, Sarah Sanders will be a figure of ridicule and disdain for the rest of her life. Like Kellyanne Conway, she is just a liar-for-hire.

This report scared me because it had the word Baptist in it. If you think this kind of culture does not exist in our own denomination, you have your head in the sand. It exists in our denomination. It may not be as wide spread as in the Fundamentalist Baptist Network, but it is there.

The author is alluding to this report, which documents widespread sexual abuse in Independent Fundamentalist Baptist churches. Part of the problem, I imagine, is the commonplace cult defense that “the world” doesn’t understand them and hates them; people who grow-up listening to that are prone to immediately rejecting reports of abuse.

More broadly, people who think everything went bad when a talking snake tricked a gullible woman into stealing a bad piece of fruit — and here in the south, there are a lot of people who believe exactly that — simply don’t see the world as it actually is; literally, they live in a shoebox-sized world where the fantasy is constantly reinforced.

Donald Trump is innately the sort of man who attracts houseflies rather than eagles, so I guess it should come as no surprise that Piers Morgan thinks he is ready to be the next Chief of Staff.

At least one person is willingly throwing their name into the ring: British commentator and former Celebrity Apprentice winner Piers Morgan.

Morgan penned an open letter Tuesday in the British tabloid The Daily Mail, asking Trump to let him take the helm overseeing White House daily operations.

Please, Congress … do your duty and drive-off this sad pack of cartoon characters.

The True Believers who are muttering “Amen!” and “Hallelujah!” have no idea that Trump is laughing at them.

Would some Godly person explain to me what it is supposed to mean to ‘rob’ an incorporeal, all-knowing and all-powerful being who exists outside time and space?
