I didn&#8217;t actually think that he would, but still &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And notice this:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>If not for me, we would now be at war with North Korea!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Oh?  The North Korean underground testing facility collapsed last April.  As I speculated <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobfelton.com\/?p=7899\" target=\"_blank\">then<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>So: What is going on here is probably no more than North Korea is carrying-out an amiable P.R. stall while frantically trying to revive their testing program.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2018\/07\/02\/signs-of-activity-at-north-korea-nuclear-facilities.html\" target=\"_blank\">What do you know?<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Several signs are pointing to North Korea still working on its nuclear program<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Recent satellite imagery from 38North shows ongoing construction work at a major North Korean nuclear research center as well as no signs of dismantlement at a separate site used to to test rocket engines.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News that Pyongyang may have recently increased production of fuel for nuclear weapons at multiple secret sites.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Such reports undermine ruler Kim Jong Un&#8217;s June 12 pledge of complete denuclearization.<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So: Trump is claiming sole credit for something that hasn&#8217;t even happened.  If the idiots who think that Trump is a Great Man weren&#8217;t certain to spend the next day celebrating The Donald&#8217;s rescue of Western civilization from rabid Korean hordes, this would be pathetic rather than dangerous.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many good conversations with North Korea-it is going well!
