Most of them, in fact, are <SPAN style=\"BACKGROUND-COLOR: #a8f2f5\">passive church attendees<\/span> who are <SPAN style=\"BACKGROUND-COLOR: #a8f2f5\">content to let the world go to hell<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/brucegerencser.net\/2018\/05\/taking-the-gospel-to-the-ends-of-the-earth\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bruce Gerencser<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As I&#8217;ve said many times through the years, most people have too much sense and decency to be &#8216;good&#8217; Christians; it&#8217;s the ones who don&#8217;t that you have to watch.<\/p>\n<p>Or, as the philosopher Jeremy Bentham once said, &#8220;The principle of asceticism never was, nor ever can be, consistently pursued by any living creature.
