Trump (@realDonaldTrump) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realDonaldTrump\/status\/829836231802515457\">February 9, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I am <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobfelton.com\/?p=5140\" target=\"_blank\">feeling prescient<\/a> just now:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The bottom line here is straightforward: Neither the courts nor the press are going to be bullied into submission \u2014 and beyond them, neither will tens of millions of Americans be bullied into submission.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>When we consider the plain attempt of the past several days to bully the judiciary, and his months-long hostility toward the press, there isn&#8217;t any reasonable doubt that he aims to cripple the institutions which have the ability to constrain his ill-informed impetuousness.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m feeling grateful just now for those journalists who have had the nerve to go toe-to-toe with the cataracts of bald lies, and the jurists who aren&#8217;t obsequious pushovers &#8212; and the Founders who anticipated a demagogue like Trump and built into the machinery the check and balances that would arrest his madness.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE! &mdash; Donald J.
