Cat shelter\u2019s leaders accused of being an end-times cult<\/a><\/p>\n

The group settled in Columbia, Tenn., where they opened a nonprofit cat shelter called Eva\u2019s Eden.<\/p>\n

Now, some of Ruthven\u2019s former followers accuse her of running an end-times cult.<\/p>\n

Based on Ruthven\u2019s writings and interviews with former followers by Nashville Scene, cats are divine creatures that will carry the 144,000 souls mentioned in the book of Revelation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
