Mohler&#8217;s soon-to-be-published book instructing the godly that they <a href=\"http:\/\/www.courier-journal.com\/story\/news\/local\/2015\/10\/13\/mohler-christians-should-boycott-gay-wedding\/73865702\/\" target=\"_blank\">mustn&#8217;t attend same-sex weddings<\/a>, even if it&#8217;s the wedding of their own child.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary says in a new book that Christians should not attend a same-sex wedding ceremony \u2013 even of their own child \u2013 because it \u201csignals moral approval\u201d of the union.<\/p>\n<p>Writing in \u201cWe Cannot Be Silent,\u201d R. Albert Mohler Jr. says that while it may be \u201cexcruciatingly difficult\u201d to boycott gay weddings of friends and loved ones, \u201cat some point attendance will involve congratulating the couple for their union. If you can\u2019t congratulate the couple, how can you attend?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Have I ever mentioned that the Truly Devout believe that the pleasure of Our Invisible Friend is more important than family loyalties?  I think so.
