{"id":12777,"date":"2020-11-01T15:49:48","date_gmt":"2020-11-01T20:49:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bobfelton.com\/?p=12777"},"modified":"2020-11-01T15:49:48","modified_gmt":"2020-11-01T20:49:48","slug":"fun-times-at-liberty-u","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bobfelton.com\/?p=12777","title":{"rendered":"Fun times at Liberty U."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are a lot of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/magazine\/2020\/11\/01\/jerry-falwell-liberty-university-becki-self-dealing-sex-430207\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">severely screwed-up people<\/a> in the evangelical subculture &#8212; How could it be otherwise, really, given their beliefs? &#8212; and I have no difficulty believing any of this.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>When Jerry Falwell Jr. and his wife Becki strolled around the Lynchburg, Va., campus of Liberty University, the evangelical school which Falwell led as president, they would play a secret game called \u201cWould you rather.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The middle-aged couple would point to students, men and women, and imagine what it would be like to have sex with them, according to a former student who said Becki told him about the game.<\/p>\n<p>The former student, a member of a band with the Falwells\u2019 son Trey, has said that Becki initiated oral sex with him while he stayed overnight at the Falwell home, following other attempts to seduce him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And on and on.
