{"id":12018,"date":"2020-04-09T14:02:47","date_gmt":"2020-04-09T18:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bobfelton.com\/?p=12018"},"modified":"2020-04-09T14:47:16","modified_gmt":"2020-04-09T18:47:16","slug":"any-day-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bobfelton.com\/?p=12018","title":{"rendered":"Any day now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianpost.com\/news\/strong-majority-of-pastors-see-current-events-as-birth-pains-of-christs-return-survey.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">survey<\/a> conducted by the Southern Baptist Convention finds that more than half of their pastors expect Jesus to return during their lifetime.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>According to LifeWay, nearly nine out of 10 pastors see at least some current events \u201cmatching those Jesus said would occur shortly before He returns to Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the data, <SPAN style=\"BACKGROUND-COLOR: #a8f2f5\">56 percent of pastors either strongly or somewhat agreed with the statement: \u201cI expect Jesus to return in my lifetime.\u201d<\/span> Twenty-four percent said they were \u201cnot sure,\u201d while 20 percent either strongly or somewhat disagreed. <\/p>\n<p>In total, 97 percent of pastors said they believe Christ will return to Earth again.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Remember, though: This is the same pack of morons who expect Jesus to protect attendees at their services in the midst of a global, highly infectious pandemic.
