So: If a pubescent girl is raped and becomes pregnant, she must carry the baby to term — even if her body isn’t up to the task of incubating a baby, even if doing so condemns both mother and child to a lifetime of poverty. If a sane, decent-minded physician aborts the pregnancy, he can spend the rest of his life in prison.<\/p>\n
