McMartin Preschool II?

The lurid allegations continue to mount in the Mohler familial sex abuse case in Missouri; so much so that it’s not outrageous to wonder whether this is yet another case of sick fantasies run amok. I think at the moment, though, that the facts tilt slightly toward the alleged victims.

Is it more believable that one sick man raised 4-sons so debauched that they would abet and participate in his depravities, or is it more believable that multiple adult children from multiple branches of the family tree, with normal upbringings if the allegations are false, would agree to conspire to defame him?

Considered that way, it looks less like a witch hunt and more like a long grinding spell of evidence gathering and basic police work.
