For he doth not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men. (Lam. 3:33.)

For his mercy endureth forever. (1 Chron. 16:34.)

I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God. (Ezek. 18:32.)

The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works. (Ps. 145:9.)

Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Tim. 2:4.)

God is love. (1 John 4:16.)

Good and upright is the Lord. (Ps. 25:8.)
