Joe Daugherty, a Christian clergyman who preaches faith-healing right out of the Bible for his flock doesn’t rely on it for himself. Joe is now in the hospital after being diagnosed with cancer.
Mr. Daugherty operates the Christian Victory Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In the Center’s Statement of Faith is written, “We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.” It then lists the following Bible passages to support this statement of faith in faith-healing: Isa. 53:4, Matt. 8:16-17, Mark 16:18, John 5:6-14, 1 Peter 2:24.
